It's been quite a while...Some people watching me may have even forgotten I exist.
Sorry 'bout that.

I do have a couple pictures in progress...one is nearly finished, so hopefully I'll have it up in the next week or so.
I'm also doing a "redraw" of a super old picture...we'll see when that gets done.

I'm assistant stage managing a show right now at my old school and looking for an actual "day job"...so I'm pretty busy. Though, apparently less busy than last year, since I'm actually drawing and getting ready to start posting stuff again.
I transferred to a new school last year...where I discovered that I don't actually want to go into acting...funny thing, that. Good thing I didn't actually get into the department I auditioned for. (and now I'm not at school...money's annoying)
In the middle of my first semester at that school, my laptop's hard-drive crashed and I lost everything on it, including the few paintings I had been slowly working on. I've been trying to redo them...but it's been difficult to get the motivation to draw on my computer lately...especially since my tablet's pressure-sensitivity randomly decides to mess up.
I've sketched quite a few pictures...and even colored a few of them (with colored pencils! le gasp!)...but I don't have access to a scanner anymore, so I can't actually put them up until I figure out a way to get them on my computer with the colors accurately intact.

Anyway, I am starting to do a bit more "painting" again...so I hope to start posting again soon.
If you few people who might read this have ideas for something I could try drawing or painting, let me know...I've been kinda short on inspiration for actual pieces lately.

I haven't had as much time as I'd like to do full art pieces. I've been doodling and sketching on random pieces of paper...but none of my paintings have been finished yet.

School ate my life, basically.
I'm in my last semester at this school...will graduate in May with my Associates in Arts
I have an audition on Saturday for the school I want to transfer to...specifically for their musical theatre program. Hopefully, I'll get in and get scholarships of some sort so I can actually go.

I was also just cast in a show that opens in April...so we're starting rehearsals in full swing this week.
"The Frogs" by Aristophanes...it's a Greek play! haha...I'm in the chorus (which, interestingly, probably has the most lines)
I'm taking a directing class...we just got our scene assignments today and have to audition the acting II class next week. O_O Eep.
And I'm working in the theatre's costume shop...yeah. Busy little person over here.

I've got at least two paintings in progress sitting in my "progress" folder on my computer. I wish I knew when I'll be able to finish...
I also have this really sweet (like "aww!" sweet) sketch I just did on a piece of scrap paper...I wish I had time to turn that into a painting, too.

So...you know...update for the few people who actually watch me

I am still alive...in case anybody actually looks at my page and was wondering. I haven't done much drawing/painting lately, though...
I have sewn a few doll outfits...I need to take some photos and then I'll put those up...might be a while though. School starts again tomorrow...and I have a job on top of it...as well as an audition in 2 1/2 weeks.

Okay...so, because this is an art place and my form of art lately is more theatrical/musical...I will share my youtube so you can hear me sing if you want.
There's not a lot up right now...I just got it a couple days ago. I'll add more as time (and my brother with the recording studio in his closet) permits.

Christmas break...it's a wonderful thing. I get to sleep in...and draw...and hang around with my family.

I finally drew/painted something again. I wanted to redo the Seasons series I did a while ago...plus I needed to come up with presents...I'm a very poor college student with no job.

The pictures were originally for my older sister, and then I decided to give them to my Grandparents...

It's interesting to look back and see what I've improved on with my "painting"...I think three years ago I was under the impression that only lessons would make me better...wow. I still haven't had any lessons...just random tips from different people and a slight development in my eye.

This year has been interesting and good...and next will be even more so.

So...college is good. Yep.
I auditioned for my school's production of A Christmas Carol and was cast as Mrs. Cratchit. Exciting! Speaking role in a college show! Yay!

My sister is visiting next week! I haven't seen her since Easter...yay, big sister!

And...I finally finished my painting that I started during Spring break.
Painting with actual paint takes so much longer than digital paint (at least with me)...huh.

I'm so happy my Fridays at school are easy...I have concert choir and jazz dance. Fun, non-stress day (and I don't have to get up until 9)!
